The congregation of Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce the selection of Reverend Karl E. Schwarz as their new solo pastor. We are filled with gratitude and love for Pastor Karl for his leadership and pastoral support over the last 2 years in his role as our interim Pastor. We have been fortunate to experience his strong faith, spirit, teaching, preaching and compassion during this time of pandemic and its many challenges. We look forward to working hand-in-hand with Pastor Karl as we continue to share the good news of God’s love in North Dallas and the surrounding community! All Viola: A Farewell Recital
Michael Langford has played at special services here at BTPC and is inviting the congregation to his special recital before he leaves for new adventures.
Join violists Michael Langford and Kevin Bock for a free farewell recital at Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church on May 4th at 6:00 p.m.  
Having called the Dallas area home for a combined 35 years, Michael and Kevin are celebrating their next adventure out of state with a program that spotlights the viola in music originally written for other instruments. 
You'll hear:
·Bartók's violin duos (arranged for two violas)
·The Allemanda from Ysaÿe’s Violin Sonata No. 4 (arranged for viola)
·A new duet composed by Michael Langford
·J.S. Bach's Chaconne (arranged for viola ensemble)
A light reception will follow. 
Please join to toast their send-off with music, friendship, and refreshments!
