The congregation of Bentwood Trail Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce the selection of Reverend Karl E. Schwarz as their new solo pastor. We are filled with gratitude and love for Pastor Karl for his leadership and pastoral support over the last 2 years in his role as our interim Pastor. We have been fortunate to experience his strong faith, spirit, teaching, preaching and compassion during this time of pandemic and its many challenges. We look forward to working hand-in-hand with Pastor Karl as we continue to share the good news of God’s love in North Dallas and the surrounding community! Go to bentwoodtrail.org to learn more about Karl and his ministry.

The Agape Resource and Assistance Center
This year we have the privilege to support twelve (12) kids and help make their Christmas a little brighter.
The Agape Resource and Assistance Center has provided us with a list of these children with their ages, favorites, wishes, and a few needs.
If you sign up for this giving opportunity, then you will return these WRAPPED gifts back to the church on Sunday, December 14th.
There will be a sign up in the Narthex following worship.

We also have a wish list from Family Gateway for items for their Christmas store.
This year, Family Gateway expects to support two hundred (200) families (which represents approximately five hundred (500) children and youths).
If you are interested in purchasing items for Family Gateway, there is a “Holiday Wish List” at the table in the Narthex following worship.
Please return these items UNWRAPPED to the church by Sunday, December 14th for delivery to Family Gateway.

A service opportunity also exists with Family Gateway to work the store on Friday, December 19th, and Saturday, December 20th.
Volunteers are needed to set up the store, as well as help parents shop for their children.
The location of the store is All Saints Catholic School and it is located about two miles from the church.
This is a very fun event for those who participate. See us at the sign-up table for more details.
WORSHIP WITH CHANCEL CHOIR AND CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
Sunday, December 14th, 10:30AM at In Person and via Facebook Live
WORSHIP WITH CHANCEL CHOIR AND CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
Please join us as, together, we weave our worship through music into a glorious Tapestry of Light!
During Worship on Sunday, December 14 at 10:30 a.m., the Chancel Choir and Chamber Orchestra will lead us in traditional carols, primarily from the British Isles.
Each traditional carol offers its own rich vocabulary of Advent and Christmas, joining together faith and art into a glorious fabric of melody and truth. From angelic acclamations to delicate lullabies, the message of God’s love will shine brightly in this “Tapestry of Light”;
by composer Joseph Martin.
Our Chancel Choir will be accompanied by Violin, Flute, Cello, Percussion, and Piano.
Please join us as, together, we weave our worship through music into a glorious Tapestry of Light!
