» LENTEN STUDY
The 2010 LENTEN STUDY will begin at the end of February,
starting on Wednesday, February 24, one week following ASH WEDNESDAY.
The LENTEN STUDY will meet in the den in Bentwood
House starting at 6:30 pm each week. This year's theme is "Knowing God's
Triune Story," and is based on a Presbyterian denominational Lenten study
guide on the topic of the TRINITY. The study will be five weeks long, meeting
on the Wednesday evenings of February 24, March 3, March 10, March 17, and
March 24. This year's study will be facilitated by Steven Barnes and will
include a Taize Service on Wednesday, March 17 (in place of the Lenten Study
that week while Steven is out of town).
Mark your calendars and plan to join us! Books for this study
are available for $10, but this is the only cost for the series! Snacks,
fellowship, and good conversations are free!
Mo-Ranch 2010 Women's Conference is drawing near (June 1-3 or
Jun 4-6), and time is running out to get your spot reserved. Trish
Richards has the brochure so call her if you are interested in attending. We
can only say it has been an awesome experience for me the past two years and we
hope you'll try to attend. It's a very special time.
